Wheatbelt EMET Program

Emergency Medicine Education and Training in the WA Wheatbelt

 

The Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET) program is a Commonwealth funded program managed by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine for the development of teaching and training opportunities for staff working in Emergency Departments with minimal or no consultant support in Emergency Medicine.

The Wheatbelt EMET program delivers training to hospitals and clinical staff working in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. Topics include : Paediatric Emergencies, Recognising and Responding to the Deteriorating Patient, Assessment and Management of the Patient with Acute Behavioural Disturbance, ED Obstetrics, Cardiac Emergencies.
