Basic Life Support Certification (2023)

The BLS Certification is a combined online + face to face skills training program to provide training in the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines for Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Immediate management of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction.

The Basic Life Support certification covers the core knowledge and hands on skills required for :

1. Recognising Cardiac Arrest

2. Initiating Basic CPR in adults and children

3. Use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

4. Recognising the symptoms of Airway Obstruction

5. Immediate management of Airway Foreign Body

6. Procedure for Basic CPR in the unconscious patient with Airway Foreign Body
